On Friday, November 7, four of our applicants closed on their houses and became happy homeowners! All four have been busy moving in and adjusting to life in the Village. The yards have been seeded & strawed thanks to Sophia Gabalski with the Master Gardners of Dunlap, and much of the landscaping is in place. Thanks to everyone who helped make this possible. It's good to see lights on in the Village!
We will begin construction of the next 2 units (4 houses) very soon. Pictures of the four that are occupied will be posted in the next few days.
If you would like to help us with the next round of construction for the Seniors a Home Village, please contact Helen Ickes at 423 949-4074. Jobs available include any type of construction work, help with transporting volunteers, and providing meals for the volunteers. We look forward to hearing from you!
