Move in date is getting closer for our first homeowners!

Just a few short weeks ago we were beginning the foundations on our first two townhomes. Now, in just a few days, our first four homeowners will move into their new houses in the Seniors at Home Village at Dunlap, Tennessee.

We are presently waiting for connection of the septic pump and final registratrion of the plat. The first townhome is very close to being finished. Today, we are moving in topsoil to prepare for the seeding and straw for lots 1 & 2. The Master Gardners will be working to get as much landscaping in as possible once the topsoil is in place.

At lots 17 and 18, we are busy installing plumbing and electrical, and have been able to work on paint at lot 17. We will take care of the topsoil, seeding, and straw once these major items are finished.

Homeowners have been busy helping with paint and cleanup so they will be able to move in when we receive final approval. We are all very excited about the soon to be completed houses, and are already looking forward to another house package delivery for lots 7 & 8.

New Hope Construction and the homeowners appreciate the support we have received from the community, especially the Master Gardners of Dunlap, the Dunlap Seventh Day Adventist Church, and the Sequatchie County Sheriff's Office. We also appreciate Helen Ickes, our on-site coordinator, for all the assistance she provides daily.

If you would like to volunteer for this project, we have eleven more units to complete in Phase I, and have plans to begin Phase II in the near future. We can use help with meals, construction, transportation, and donations. Please contact Helen at the construction office - 423 949-4074. Thanks to all of you who have been a part of this project.
